Smersh is the Russian for "Death to Spies" and was the name of a set of ounterintelligence departments in the Soviet Army formed during World War II. Their mission was to secure the rear of the active Red Army by arresting traitors, deserters, spies and criminal elements. During the war these agents became the main force combating the German intelligence service.

@KillerfromVrdnik Thief is a great series and so is Gothic 1-2, The second Hitman also. Try gog.com inexpensive and DRM free. If the Game you buy doesn't work no problem with activation count. Put it away for a year or two when a newer computer can manage it.

@KillerfromVrdnik Yes and no, Yes it will play very well through most the game. When vehicles jump and the camera angles change with enemies shooting from everywhere you will become very depressed.
