Former Governor Stepovich is apparently still alive at age 92 now. According to the Wikipedia article, he made a couple of unsuccessful attempts at the Senate once Alaska became a state, and one more run for governor before returning to his legal practice. He moved to Oregon in 1978, and was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Alaska-Fairbanks in 2009.

Love this clip. Mr. Montalban (woof!!) adds even more clash and polish to an already distinguished group and plays the game very well for a 4th chair. Dorothy, looking lovely here, pulls it out just in the nick of time.

Alaska was a U.S. territory.
Just as Puerto Rico and Guam still are.

So this was before it was a state then?
I wonder how good a job the present governor of Alaska would do fielding those questions.... lol
