Oprah says sitting down with Nobel Prize winner and human rights activist Elie Wiesel was a "privilege of a lifetime." On Sunday, December 9, Elie opens up to Oprah about his emergency heart surgery. "We get an opportunity to talk about those moments of him being on the operating table and his thoughts about who he was and all the things he had left to do, which was really surprising to know that at 82 years old he still felt like he had so much undone," Oprah says.

I'm realizing just how true that is. Just had my first class today and already I feel so blessed and grateful for this opportunity to not only learn from him, but also get to talk and be heard by him. Today he asked the class "What is madness" (One of the topics) and I was the first to answer. I was at the front too. It was absolutely amazing and I can't wait for the rest of the month!

Hailey, you're SO lucky that Elie Wiesel will be a guest professor at your college! To me, it would be amazing, enlightening, enriching experience to sit down & listen to one of his lectures. I love listening to speaker & professor lectures. I actually loved college. I loved learning. And listening to as many professors & speakers as possible. To me, that's like the best part of college & university experience. Learning from such wise, experienced lecturers & professors. You ARE blessed, Hailey!
