  • Het lijkt erop dat deze klok met een computer is ontworpen. Daarom respect voor de oude meesters der klokgietkunst die hun klokken nog handmatig ontwierpen.

    Waar blijkt dat uit, dat deze klok door de computer ontworpen zou zijn?

  • Je giet als klokkengieter een klok met als slagtoon Gis00 maar de secundaire slagtoon voert de boventoon, echt een afgang!

  • I don't think this bell profile was designed by computer, it looks like the standard Eijsbouts profile with harmonic third, a profile designed by André Lehr in the 1960's for swinging bells long before the computer took over the profile designing in this bellfoundry. This profile has been re-produced thousands of times, and therefore it is reliable for this foundry casting such a large bell without the possibility of tuning it after casting. It is very much a standard design.
