Record temperatures made this Chicago Marathon a day to remember. Turn up your volume to hear the pre-race warning. The video was shot at the race start and vicinity, Franklin & Wacker (20K mark), and the final 200 meter mark. Congrats to all that finished! BTW, this race is one of the best run, best organized events, PERIOD. You can't control the weather.

Awesome video! It was hot out there but not once did I encounter any water or Gatorade shortages at any of the aid stations. I also noticed lots of hydration packs and hand-held bottle options at the expo - the weather predicted HOT all week long so every runner should have also prepared accordingly.
