I just had to find out what dual stacked MiniMoogs sound like now that I happen to own two at the same time. Well now I know and so can you by watching this video! Let me just say it's close to obese. Forget computer and laptop speakers, put this on you real stereo system and play it loud!

  • @MrRidgebackman Families do take time :) I really like the MoogerFooger range, they have a lot to them. And for building small modular like setups they are just the ticket. I think one could have a lot of fun with a Voyager, expansion box (for IO), the CP251 and a few of the lovely pedals!

  • @7thDanSound from the videos on the MoogMusic site - more so on here, it sounds pretty good for a little box, I would love to get my hands on one and some Moogerfoogers and start going more modular. I have looked at the MOTM's and a few others and thought about building, used to love messing with electronics many years ago - oh thats right, dammit I got married...:-P

  • @MrRidgebackman Yeah :) I'm wondering how the Minitaur will sound... It won't be a Model D replacement but maybe it will be something else cool.

  • @7thDanSound they sure do, especially when you get a square and sawtooth mixed just right and the filter turned down at about the ten o'clock region....Starts to get sexy around there :-)

  • @MrRidgebackman Thanks for watching, glad you like it! The Moogs do sound fat for sure :)

  • They sure do sound nice! I use sequencers (MC505, Radias and Cubase) to hammer home the Bass lines on my Moog's and Never get tired of tweaking those VCO's to blast my eardrums just that little bit further into my head. Would love an old Model D (Modular would be nice). Nice Channel here, Regards Andy

  • @FlametopFred Maybe I should start practising playing the keys, I think it would benefit me quite a bit. But then I'd have to clean the key contacts of the Mini and that's a real PITA. I'll stick with sequencers for the time being I think...

  • @FlametopFred Thanks. Well Mellotrons never really lured me at all so I think it's doubtful that I would even get one. Seeing as I can't play much either it'd be kind of a waste too :)
