Brisca F1 Stock Car Racing Coventry 2-5-09 Final Smith second win

Coventry 2-5-09 Final. Andy Smith takes a second Final win of the season at Coventry. After the race, Smith parked his car across the track, jumped out and saluted, I guess with two fingers, up to Race Control. The incident got a mention over the tannoy LOL. Good on yer Andy ! The race started off looking like it was going to be a battle between Wainman Jnr and Smith Jnr... However, enter John Lund... Lund sticks the boot in on Wainman, who in turns spins a rather unfortunate Smith Jnr. Not a classic Lund move, who actually came out worse for it really. A whole gaggle of cars slide out, leaving Andy Smith a fairly clear run up the inside. In the closing stages, Lee Robinson looked like he might have had just enough of a lead over Smith, but sadly for Robinson, Smith was cleary much quicker and made his move for the lead with a couple of laps spare.

Just come across your video's, may I begin by saying well done, I have been a brsica f1 fan for about 35 year, travelling to every track before fuel costs went mad,

But im now retired and living miles from any track, people like yourself are showing a bigger audiance IE world wide what Brittish stock cars are all about, and the dedicated fans like myself whats happening on todays raceways

I would love to have seen some of the classic races from the 60s/70s/80s on here, well done Cheers

They were checking some people for video cameras on the way in on Saturday and then told me I had to stop filming just after heat 1 when they saw me.

Any idea as to why?

Did they stop anyone else?

We are contributing for a down turn in crowd attendance, allegedly. If i'm stopped from filming the racing, then I will stop going. That will have nothing to do with Youtube oddly enough !! It would seem fans would rather sit at home and wait for video's to be uploaded, rather than go and see the racing live.

I only do it to help make things more popular. No one official wants to do it properly.

I'd do a better job if they'd let me inside the catch fence.
