let me guess you have no girl to clean for you so you just keep it messy and let me guess you have a computer to write messages to the commpany and also called a tracker thats how the company knows if your lying or not. -some girl

Its surprisingly cozy and most of the time you leave the truck running so heat is on and stays nice and warm

So do get use to sleeping in the truck, I'm thinking it's one of those things you just gotta get use to if you want to be a trucker. Also when you sleep, how cozy warm does it stay in there on cold winter nights?

This is not how all driver trucks look like. I also had a Freightliner Century Class. I always keep it neat, in order and clean it with a mild household cleaner one a week. His bed on the bottom lifts up for another storage area. I always kept a suitcase under here for my clothes. I was always told that how you keep your truck looking is how you keep your house looking.

@BLINDSIDETRUCKING I had a great trainer, did most of my driver training in NYC and Jersey. My tractor had 990k on the odo when I got it, and it was a little beat up inside, not my fault, but I can deal with it. I was a driver not a whiner.

How did you get away with the screwdriver antenna at schneider that you talked about in a previous post? That and how did you run power for the hf? 73 de kd8fqb (pumpkin driver)

@tornadoguy2006 I probably created more heat than light from my setup, but I put a loadbar on my upper batwings and mounted a mirror mount to that with larger u bolts. For stability, I u bolted a couple of turnbuckles to the load bar. I ran some ground strapping down to the frame. My FT-100 & 897 would load up on HF up to about 40 watts ok (20 meters). I ran digital modes off my laptop, so that was plenty of power for me. Power came from a hot terminal my trainer showed me in the fuse box!
