grow a plant in the mircowave
-
I predict the irradiated one will attempt to eat you while you are sleeping.

I think the plants next to the uranium ore will grow bigger then all the other plants.
The smallest plant will be the one in the bathroom, the 2nd biggest plant will be the one outside. The 3rd plant next to the windows will be about the same as the one outside.
The plant in the bucket with the radon with the plastic top will probably be witherd. Because of the lack of good air

i actually chose to have it in "normal" conditions, but with UV light (no greenhouse). see my new video for details. :)

@bionerd23 yes I like the idee with the greenhouse, blacklight will be super ok, because shortwave-UV definitly kill the plant.
I sugested 50Hz because it is the normal AC curent frecvence and we are exposed to it every day so it would be interesting to study its efect .
but as this are only sugestions, you can do with the plants whatever you want :-)

Plant 01 will turn darker and won't grow much
Plant 02 will turn yellowish
Plant 03 will grow happily
Plant 04 will grow happily, except if hard wind blows (which will make physical damage to plant), or if extreme temperatures occur
Plant 05 will die without sunlight.

Love the Marie and Pierre Curie pictures! Huge fan I am!
you plant murderer! *throws rocks at*
might be an idea for next one: try it with hardware like a mouse or keyboard, see if radiation effects it's mechanics. i doubt it tho, maybe after long exposure :P

lol yeah, i'd need MUCH more radiation for that... like, an amount that'd kill me before it has an effect on the hardware, so that's impossible to do in a home environment. ;)
hey, my intention is not to murder any of the plants, by the way... and if all goes well, none of them will die. ;)

i heard that uv doesnt hurt plants, and in my video response im also using other seeds.

yeah UV does hurt them, at least short-wave UV. they can, however, built up a resistance to it. AScannerClearly did experiments on this; if he exposed plants that never were exposed to UV for a prolonged time, they died. however, if he gradually and carefully increased the time they were exposed to UV each they, they could build up a resistance and survive it... a bit like humans can get a tan that prevents them from being sunburned, i guess.
