  • @samus2195 Its one of those things that if you play around with it then it will make sense. Just be sure to do it over some soft ground...for your cymbals sake. If it's something that you really want to learn and you still can't figure it out just email me with your email information and I'll send you some pictures to try to help.

  • @samus2195 I get what you are saying. The stick doesnt spin on the knot. Whenever you tie your know you have the little "legs" left over on the knot. Basically the stick is beside the knot.That is why there is so much wrist movement. If the cymbal spun directly centered you could just let it do its thing. Think of the stick as pushing the leftover "legs" of the straps to spin the plate as opposed just sitting there. That is what helps keep the momentum of the cymbal going so that it doesnt die
