I ran a 17.26 on that run, not the fastest I ran that weekend (17.02 PB)

1275 engine with Kent 286 and some head tweeks. Transmission is standard (not straight cut except 1st).

Since then I posted a 16.45 and backed it up with several mid 16s runs.

I now run with the top down as it's (strangely) quicker!

that mini i doubt was a 1275cc because the mini is lighter than your mg and would of got the head of the line quicker but still great car :D

doubt that was a 1275 mini. looking at the timer at the bottom, it looked like you ran a 18/19 sec 1/4mile. My 1275 mini (standard mg metro engine/gearbox) ran an 18.1sec. Of course, the driver could have been crap! and you were obviously there and I wasn't! just my view point. Nice MG btw. straight cut I presume?
