http://SmokingStrobes.com/prettyflashkit - In order to make real professional light with nothing more than speedlights you need a versatile flash kit that you can really rely on. That's why I like to share the list of items with you that I use in my photoshoots all the time. This flash kit serves me well for beauty photography as well as for fashion photography. There's pretty much no lighting setup that can't be done with it. Check out this flash kit.
I always see you shooting your models with a big white lens--what lens is it? Bob

Michael - I am pretty new to photography, but I have the good gear (5DMKII plus almost all of the L lenses). I have to say thanks for your videos. They are most informative and I find they inspire me to action. Thanks for taking time to post them.
Quick questions, are you doing must post processing to get the soft skin tone effects with your (cousin) models?

@garyjames100 You can get Michael's version of the answer if you post it on his website. Other than that, simple common sense tells me that you can either get a 3 flash bracket and buy a 60cm diameter brolly -OR- use a FEW brollies on that direction of the light source. If you are shooting the model from head to toe and include some room details (not sure what you are aiming for), you can multi brolly for large fills. Otherwise, multiple bare speedlights and aim/zoom as needed.

@getsaved777 nope, ebay Yongnuo565's if u really want the ettl. only missing HSS on the 565's. other than that the flash work like a charm. If you are using manual, then YN560s are perfect, the cost US60+ a pop and you can get a ton of them. Each of them already have (almost) equivalent output as a 580exII. Just get a few of the same brand receivers to connect them up :D

Hi MIchael, I have been watching your videos and they are amazing and basic simple tips. I have a nikon d200 and was think on getting this Sunpak PF30XN as a slave and buy one every two weeks. I can put my D200 on commander mode with the pop up flash. Will this Sunpak PF30XN be good for building my kit or is there any others that you will suggest on a budget?
