This is a simple demonstration of a gentle way to rope and tie down a steer if you're alone on the ranch and the steer needs to be doctored, is in the wrong place and needs to be loaded in a trailer or needs to be restrained for any other reason.

ya that is a good way to it if your on a good horse but i have found if you trip them on a ok horse it takes a little more air out of them but you really need to do it right not to hurt the cattle

Good demo heard of a lot of people breaking legs doctoring cattle in the pastures doing the steer tripping but that looks like it works real slick when yer doing it alone
