The Ferrari engines need simply to be better-engineered. Every Ferrari on earth blows up when you rev it and mess with it, unlike BMW engines which are the best.

The reason i herd on Top Gear was that some kind of glue they use in the Ferrari would heat up and then catch fire. So that's why, i forget what they said the glue was holding together though.
