Hey man, is bicycle an easy means of transpo? I would think it's completely flat and therefore, easy to get around by bike. I'm thinking of moving down there in a few months, but probably won't have a car. Your imput would be greatly appreciated.

man i lived in baton rouge during gustav and we actually got it alot worse it terms of fallen trees, damaged houses, and especially the power outage. it was ironic that alot of new orleans evacuees went to baton rouge. i just moved to uptown new orleans this week so this is very interesting to see these streets deserted. thx for the vid.

Hey man, thanks for the vid. I evac'd to Texas but I waited until the last minute to leave. It was really a strange feeling, being there and having everything and everyone, not be there. I'm not originally from NO, but I live here and hope I never have to do that again.

It was a freaking ghost town! I work at the stables in Audubon Park and we stayed Uptown during the storm. I'm not originally from New Orleans, this was my first hurricane and we stayed. It was CRAZY..the only people that were here were basically us and police and National Guard. I probably saw your riding your bike around haha.
