"Alaska's Great Race; The Susan Butcher Story" - Emmy Award winning documentary available on DVD for the first time (see my website listed below to order). Susan Butcher and her dog team are struck by tragedy in her bid to win the 1985 Iditarod, the most demanding sled dog race of all. The Iditarod Trail covers 1,049 miles through mountain ranges and over frigid sea ice, from Anchorage to Nome. With raw courage and determination, she battles it out in -40 degree weather with the toughest mushers in the North to set a new Iditarod record. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000U4EA2U?ie=UTF8&seller=A2OHOEVST4QF1Y...

Butcher but sadly we never got the chance susan's dogs remain a legacy rest in peace butcher

  • She musta really trusted her dogs to go out inot that storm

  • Broke into your mother fucking house? You haven't been born when she began racing in Alaska asshole. She never been in your stinking place. Can you prove your allegation your cock sucking faggot!

  • Why would you post something like this?? Boredom??? She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and there is NO RECORD of anything like what you have posted. Go away!!

  • RIP Susan.

  • When she was younger, Susan Butcher lived in New Hampshire. She broke into my family's house (among others) and stole antiques to be sold for profit. No offense to the positive work Ms. Butcher has done, but I believe the whole story should be told.

  • I lived next door to her when I was a kid, and Mitch Seavey lived across the street.

  • Thanks! Waiting for to become available on Amazon. I worked under Susan back in '81 in Anchorage. She was a good lady.

    God Bless her!

Dharam, now in MA, near her original home, Cambridge, MA,
