Dr JGN Ritchie of the royal commission for ancient and historic monuments in edinburgh has several very confusing - inaccurate pictures of this on record .. with furrows in the brow malformed eye cavities and shortened face length with missing lower lip - to the effect of making it look like a shortened skull
see ML 2881, ML 2878 and ML 2879 from the alleged photos of this carving in the Royal Commission database and also registered as an iron age fish by c thomas, 1961 but looks nothing like the illustration and the images from the actual rock.
