  • Now make it make the battery come back from the other end of the table lol

  • Actually there is no need for the battery. if you are using an external power source you can just use a piece of iron between the magnets, or even just use a long cilindrical magnet

  • Why the battery is moving?

    Is it the Lorentz force?

    Please explain the setting in the info box or in the comments!

  • I'm guessing that that's a switch on the bottom, so going by the railway analogy, the train powers itself, rather than having the power in the rails.
