Shawn Taylor came to Purdue without fanfare or acclaim. He quickly realized an education wasn't enough to ensure his future success. Excellence was the mark to achieve his goals. So he found ways to be successful. He searched the campus until he found a library area without windows - this way he could study without interruption or distraction. His career has taken him Arthur Andersen and American Express. He's owned a chain of over 30 Taco Bell restaurants and today is part-owner of the Houston Astros. His message - anyone who wants to (and is willing to do the work) can lead the same kind of life.
