  • IPhone is mounted for video and still shots. iPad utilized to run WING X PRO with Synthetic Vision, Approach Plates, backup weather... So the answer is NO, I don't need it to fly the plane but having the RED CAPS handle that deploys the parachute is not needed either, but may be nice to have one day. As a matter of fact I may not even need a glass panel. I think I still remember how to fly using those round things.

  • I flew commuters back in the 90's, Beechcraft 99's and 1900's to be precise. I am just floored by the technology now available to the general aviation market now. One of our line aircraft didn't even have auto-pilot and it seems like I always got that one! Anyhow, it's much easier to fly now than days of old.

  • Belíssimo. muito obrigado!

  • Great Video...I looked at a Cirrus SR22 at Oshkosh. Love 'em! I wish I made enough money in my consulting business to buy one, I could sure use it with the travel that I do! Maybe someday. Looks like you guys are having a blast!

  • Do you really need an i-phone and an i-pad along with the glass cockpit?

  • Nice flight, beautiful video! Congrats
