  • “Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.” -Stephen King

  • singpraise247, here's the thing. This is... the most BORING love story i've ever read. Yes, I read the Twilight Saga so I CAN judge it, and I hate it. Heck, im 13 years old and I could write a better story than Smeyer. The woman just... god J.K. Rowling wrote a better love story in one line that Smeyer did in 4 incredible dull, cheap, un-realistic to a FNOIENFOE books. I mean, the whole Renesmee thing isn't possible. Edward's blood doesn't run, therefore no erection therefore NO BABY.

  • The wise words of Albus Dumbledore:

    "Don't dwell on dreams".

  • "Like never before"...except with Harry Potter...

  • I don`t buy the thing about the dream. I think she just realised she could get a ton of cash by making a soppy, teen vampire movie that appeals to teen girls.

  • @derxc Difference is that Harry Potter is exacuted well enough to be appealing to multiple demographics, while Twilight is just plain bad, and that's not really an opinion, by the basis in quality of most books, Twilight does not stand up, I myself am writing a novel.

  • look people, both of these books are famous for the same reason, despite the persona and the aptitude of the authors: they both speak to people in a way that "people" can actually fantasize and believe of a possibility of wizards existing unknown to us or vampires taking classes in high school amid us, both of these authors play up to that logic, compared to other fantasy novels

  • @AugustineEmmeline And I don't understand how people can enjoy watching the OC or Jersey Shore, but I guess it's all a matter of taste. As long as people dont have to go to therapy because of the book, it should not be a problem to other people.

  • @CallMeEuphoria I didn't say anything about Stephanie Meyer being like Bella in that comment. Or about how she lived her life. But okay. You enjoy what you enjoy. I just completely don't understand it regarding Twilight.

  • @BoukenCrimson I actually agree with you on that one. How long have they been milking this vampire thing? 5 years? Lol. I am kind of two timing Edward with Lestat anyway, so they just have to share me ;-)

It just annoys me how they have to make shuch a big deal out of this.
