Talk and slideshow by Thorne Anderson and Kael Alford, co-authors of "Unembedded: Four Independent Photojournalists on the War in Iraq" given October 12, 2008 in Seattle.
Another update since the video was uploaded. That "incident" where the Americans shot 13 people dead, wasn't an incident, but a massacre. After an inquiry it was proven nobody from the crowd of protesters shot at the soldiers. The families of the victims from the Bloody Sunday massacre in Northern Ireland in 1972 felt compelled to go and march with the families of the victims of the Falujah massacre. It doesn't get brought up much, but a pretty nice story.
Thanks very much for posting this. Thorne and Kael provided a valuable perspective on the run-up to the war and the situation on the ground there. Wonderful that this is available for wide viewing.
