This workout is not meant to make someone stronger. This workout was made for MMA fighters. The goal is not to GAIN muscle, because that would cause fighters to not be able to make weight. This workout is meant to make the muscles you have work more efficiently, and increase your pound-for-pound strength, without gaining muscle weight. So no, this doesnt build much bulk, but It will kick ur ass a lot more than a few bench presses.

You think FGB is rough. We did teams of 2 FGB with no resting in between rounds. Constant movement, the second your partner stops to get their breath you have to continue in that movement until the 1min is up and you keep going. There is no 1 min rest after the four exercises. I almost puked!!!

Okay so I have just found out that not only is the man 'teaching' called Greg Glassman, but he is the founder of Crossfit, does not do the WOD's, does not follow the paleo diet that CF push so hard and has stated, "No successful strength and conditioning program has ever derived from scientific principles..." Moron!!!

I agree, it would help if the coaches were mentored (correctly) and tested. There is more to it than that, I was merely bringing the deepest wound to the surface.

Also CF claims to be a strength and conditioning system, yet I have never known anyone to be fitness tested and the system is to fit the individual around the workout, whereas ANY S&C coach will always design an intervention to improve performance and reduce likelihood of injury. Apart from that, I have seen lots of horrible looking snatches and cleans - but that comes down to the coach!!
