A closer look at what the Australian Government is trying to achieve with their latest $30 million anti-drug advertising campaign.

Note: This video is not pro-drugs or anti-drugs... it is pro-knowledge and anti-ignorance (especially coming from governments).

Speak to your mates about their opinions on all these topics. I think you'll find that when it comes to knowledge about drugs (even alcohol) there is a scarily wide mix of opinions on what should be commonly-accepted, commonly-known scientific facts.

Just because you hate something doesn't mean you should preach to everyone that they should not use it. Imagine if ever obese person addicted to fast foods sat outside and harassed everyone getting a Big Mac. Definitely not a society I would want to live in. When you smoke marijuana it generally effects you and you alone, it doesn't hurt anyone around me when I'm stoned. I know because I'm stoned around hundreds of people everyday and I haven't hurt any of them. Your average drunk however...

Oh no I'd never want to take a drug that changes me. Even if it happens to aid me in developing an interesting personality based on open minded thinking and optimism, instead of doing what the Government tells me and being like every other fucking successful public servant in this country.
