Great skills.. the kid can do it all, pretty impressive control over basically everything. Power from top to bottom. Seems like a real nice kid too. I'm sure he's going to have an incredibly bright future. I hate to say anything bad, because this is just such a small sample of playing, but I agree that I didn't really "feel" his playing deep down. They say you gotta pay your dues to play the blues, and perhaps that true.

Thanks. For the record: the only instruction I've given Brandon so far was a little bit of coaching after the Star Search semifinals in regards to movement on stage--a little fancy footwork, if you will. Whatever he's doing on harmonica is his alone, a result of his talent and self-study. I may give him a few notes in that direction, at a later date. :)
