Man, 1982 was THE year for sci-fi and fantasy. You had this movie, Star Trek 2, Tron, Poltergiest, Beastmaster, The Secret of NIMH, Blade Runner, ET, Conan the Barbarian... I just wish I was old enough to have seen these during their theatrical runs.

Finally a TV Spot for Carpenter's masterpiece. Sort of a remake but more of a faithful re-adaptation of the novel "Who Goes There" when the 1951 movie was a poor adaptation, this one does the novel justice. I can't wait for the prequel
