anti flag isnt hardcore at all. the casualties are more mainstream punk. and my dad used 2 hang out with black flag cause he was one of the bass players for Murphy's Law and they were really good friends with black flag

@rherbi youre wrong brah....in the 70's they played dark 77 style punk, but by earth AD it was fast hardcore. the 98 misfits horseshit is best described as pop-punk, meets nu-metal. "skulls" was on walk among us, a record showing their transition into a harder faster style.

fugazi is post-punk, antiflag is mall-punk, the casualties are too. you ought to listen to red cross/ redd kross if you like DK's over MT or the flag

Misfits weren't hardcore punk in the first period ( Ex: skulls ), they were punk rock.

Recently they do hardcore punk ( Ex: last albums ). They do horror punk only for the lyrics, but for the music they're hardcore punk.
