chrono trigger is one of the best RPGs. and while it too is epic, the humor and lighthearted nature of much of the game is cool.

i agree with you about arts&entertainment becoming more dark.. but i think its just a reflection of the times. 9/11, iraq war, now the financial collapse.. stuff like that has an impact on the arts, too.

by the way, spekkio is named after the italian word specchio, which means mirror.. which is what he functions as.

Fun fact kid, he said that both are fun. He just said they were like two diffrent genres, he said, and I quote, "Chrono trigger is fun yet is desined to also be silly and funny, while FF7 is also fun but is set to be on the epic side, its not really silly at all" mmmm looking at it it seems like he COMPLIMENTED FF7, dont go raging on the internet when theres nothing to rage at, jerk.

@couch1511 Never before have I thought that an opinion could truly be incorrect. FF7, again graphics aside, had very limited gameplayability (yes not a word I know). When ya beat FF7 you've beaten it. But when you've beaten chrono Trigger you've only beaten one out of about ten different endings. Plus I didn't like the main villain with a RAGING oedipus complex.

I wonder what the direct translation is from those books u find in Zeal. And if it tells u what role the Nu really plays. B/c some say that the Nu is just an extension of the Entity.

@couch1511 It's really opinion, isn't it? Personally, I think Chrono Trigger is loads better than FFF7. In fact, I'm not a very big fan of ff7 to begin with. And it's not really an insult to compare two games. He's just giving his opinion, what's wrong with that?

@Hcbailly..... you said FF7 isnt chrono trigger.....ummm .....CHRONO TRIGGER IS NOT FF7.....graphics aside... chrono trigger is top 3-5 games for fun.....BUT!.......the amount of "fun" in FF7 totally out ways chrono trigger... 1) alot more to have fun with....2) chrono trigger is 3 ways fun NOT 8+ ways in FF7.... it is an insult to compare the 2... FF7 IS FAR BETTER IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE... still not best rpg... best thats another topic..(no FF anything is the best)

Sorry but its no fun maxing out.. just do it with only the exp you acquire on the way and I GUARANTEE it'll be much more fun.
