Every January, National Geographic magazine organizes a seminar for its photographers at National Geographic headquarters in Washington DC. The event offers inspiration and a chance for the photographers — who live and work around the globe — to spend time together with their colleagues at the magazine. Throughout National Geographic magazine's 2012 photo seminar, we asked our photographers three questions. Their answers surprised us.
