Godspell - Beautiful City (Dropofahat Theater Productions)

This is the song "Beautiful City" from a regional performance of "Godspell", by Dropofahat Theater Productions. Featuring Kevin Sweeney.
Directed by Rose Kulikowski.

The song was first written specifically for the 1973 film version of "Godspell". Stephen Schwartz later re-wrote it (slower, and with revised lyrics). Ours was one of the first regional productions to perform this version of the song.

I don't think that I have heard that song in any version I have seen. I thought it was very moving.
