Algonquin College has joined forces with Vocantas, an Ottawa tech company, to help protect students in residence during an H1N1 outbreak. If the virus were to hit Algonquins residences, an automatic telephone survey system would be deployed to gage the number of students infected with the virus. This automated survey allows the college to collect meaningful, documented information into how the virus is spreading. This information allows the college to respond quickly and allocate resources where needed. More information about Algonquin College's H1N1 can be found at http://www.algonquincollege.com/pandemic/
