Yes he did, it took him 2 years, and he ran 26.232 kilometres.
I have met him personally, and he is an incredible person!

Of course many people have asked this same question. I apologize to you all. He flew to Ireland and ran across there. Then he took a ferry and ran across Great Britain. I regret this omission. His achievement was incredible and done with remarkable spirit.
