The most visually complex video I've produced to date. The music may or may not be to your liking, but the strange visuals should bring a smile.

This animated short video is a bizarre trip put to the music of the 1986 release "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" by the popular 80's band Wang Chung.

This humorous, weird, and fun video features odd imagery and different styles of animation, including: traditional animation, stop motion animation, clay animation, ASCII animation, and computer animation.

I'm sorry YouTube's somewhat shoddy video re-coding made this video so damn blurry. :-( I wish they'd improve upon the video quality here instead of just adding other features.

The video looks MUCH prettier on my website in full high-resolution, stereo, crystal-clear weirdness: http://www.TheReelTodd.com/CuttingRoomFloor.htm

  • Those walking hands should have thier own video :P

  • LOL Yeah, that would make a cool video. It would come in pretty *handy* as well, don't you think? :-P he he he

  • I just had to give you thumbs up on this video again. I always watch it from time to time. It's as funny and entertaining as the first time I saw it!!

  • Thanks, cchhaanneeyy! I really appreciate that. I hope you're watching the high-quality version on my website though. The YouTube version is very poor quality and the finer details (I spent so much time on) don't even show up here. :-( If you've never seen it on my site - it's like seeing a whole new video. There's so much in there, I bet you pick out something new each time you watch it. A few Easter Eggs too. :-)

  • Dang! That was really good! You must have more time on your hands than I do....

  • Thanks, BerenTheOneHanded! :-D As for time on my hands... actually time is the elusive beast in my life. I have very little of it and it took me several MONTHS just to complete this short video. The two year anniversary of its release (on my site) is in just a few days. I may do a story about that on my website... and the incredibly difficult time I had making this video with the crappy tools I had to work with.

  • *rim shot*

    Haha.

  • I shall go check it out now. Thanks for the headsup!

  • Thank you, GraydenLaing! Glad you enjoyed. I love my vintage Armatron. Those things are awesome! No 80's nerd should be without one. Mine still works after more than 20 years! :-D
