I didn't initially like the sound of the PCM Y6 when I first bought one when they first came out a couple of years ago, but now I think I like it better than the new Paragon 2 version. The whistle on the new one sounds like GODZILLA on a rampage! From what I read on the BLI forums, the quality of the new ones (Chinese) suffers badly. It seems that quite a few of them would not even run out of the box! For $400.00 a pop, that's totally unacceptable!!
