Llangollen in Snow

Every December railways all over the UK run Santa Specials, and Llangollen is no different. Over the weekend of 19/20 there was heavy snowfall, and so I duly went out to record these specials in the winter weather.

On the 20th, we see the 11:00 hauled by Black 5 44806, pass the ECS for the 11:45 with 3802 sat in River Siding at Goods Junction.

Next we see the 11:45 passing Berwyn Station, as all trains run non-stop at this time.

Te final shot is of 44806 climbing Berwyn Bank and heading for the Tunnel, which we hear her whistling for right at the end. Apologies for the shakiness of this shot but by this time I was quite cold myself and with my tripod not being the smoothest for pans I didn't have much going for me.
