"It's Your Story" - National Museum of American Jewish History

The new National Museum of American Jewish History (www.nmajh.org), opening in November 2010, is dedicated to telling the still-unfolding story of Jews in America, who embraced freedom with its choices and challenges as they shaped and were shaped by our nation. The Museum envisions its new home as a place that welcomes all people, inviting them to discover what they have in common with the Jewish experience in America, as well as to explore the features that make this history distinctive.

Rising five stories above Independence Mall, in the heart of historic Philadelphia, the National Museum of American Jewish History will join Independence Hall, the National Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell and other landmarks at the hallowed site of America's birth. There could not be a more fitting place for a museum that will explore the promise and challenges of liberty through the lends of the American Jewish experience.

This is so lovely... I'm a southerner of the USA..I can hardly wait to get there to tour the museum all day long getting to know them even more... I love my jewish friends and those who have come to our country.. they have added so much to our .culture , medicines.. society.. and sciences... every aspect of the USA.

I pray God's blessing continue to be with them.

@oveid Actually jewish hospitals don't discriminate, Can't say the same about many hospitals that up until the 60s would not even allow blacks to be admitted. So get a life you troll.

If Israel was illegally created then so does every Western countries that live in. Western countries often stole lands from native Americans so it should apply the same.

Wonderful tribute to those who have preceded us. However, the United States is no longer the haven of freedom, the supporter of human rights that it once was.

Our government is choosing big business over humanity. The nation voted for humanity in the last election and got the king of corporate america in its' place.
