@mattdaddyful this was a PBS special recorded in 2003 in Pittsburgh. Billy Paul was born in 1934 , so in 2003 he was 70 or 71 years old. Looking FANTASTIC at 70 . That's why he got such a great reception by the crowd.

that can be mr. jones as well and what can be said ? these type of songs told you how life really worked and they always put you in the mood especially when you were teenagers and you had to sneek to be with first love even though it was wrong because your parents said no. thank you Mr. Billy paul just for a minute I got to relive my teenage years and my first love.
