In an attempt to highlight the void in true leadership at the time the President on the West Wing called on us to reach for the stars. How did we show our strength and "rise to master that moment"? Our country was paralyzed by fear-mongering and a total lack of vision from our real leaders. This scene chokes me up every time because it reminds me of the potential we have as a country to overcome the toughest of issues if we have the collective will to do it and the leaders to show us the way.
