This is how i collect rain from my roof to my underground cistern then pump it through out my house.

  • Now that is impressive. My brother has a well, only 50ft deep. He should look into this, he has a lot of roof, and a lot of rain, but no water.

  • @kookiemoose My cistern is 60 years old and still doesn't leak. There are some great new systems out there now but a lot of them have a high initial cost. Mine is concrete block lined and sealed with decades of alga and sediment.

  • @ironhead41 We give her 30.00. The first part of the video should be up soon. I show my catch system. She offered to take less but I was paying 60.00 for a 2000 gal. load from the hauler. I get more water for half the price.

  • Interesting. Do you ever get leaves, pollen, bird waste, ect in your water? How long does a full tank last you?

  • That's cool Tiffany's house has a cistern, I really should look into that. Ouch that diapram tank aint going to be cheap.

    I got water at 20 ft and 20 years I keep saying I goina get a sand point and digger well.
