so...

this could be called the 3rd installment in a fixed axle trilogy. awhile back i did an imperial video. then i did a proyo video... now it's a no jive. the key difference is the fact that i love the no jive 3-in-1 yo-yo substantially more than either of the other two... or any other yo-yo for that matter.

we live in an era of innovation, which extends to yo-yoing. watching today's trick innovators is unbelievably inspiring. i've never really been much of an innovator in any aspect of my life i guess. but i take immense satisfaction in trying to improve.

i know none of the tricks in this video are "hard" (though some of them were hard for me). if this is trying to say anything, maybe it's that everything doesn't need to be hard for it to be meaningful... or fun. i had a lot of fun with this video and i hope watching it makes you want to play with a wood yo-yo... or... any yo-yo.

  • How did you make your hair grow like that? That is amazing!

  • th... thanks jon.

    i don't really know.

  • I meant that it was short in the beginning of the video, and long at different parts throughout =P

  • ha! i'm wearing a hat, AND was rocking an early 90's buzz-around-the-sides (think reverse-mullet, but just as awful). i assure you, the vid was shot in 2 days (i'm far too impatient to wait for my hair to grow).

  • what are you doing watching a yo-yo video?

and what else should i be doing with the terra cotta guy? he's not even full size?

  • Hello sir/madam,

While you are at it, would you mind calling my mom and telling her that I am sorry for all of the times I disappointed her?

I can't seem to find enough time to make an honest living; while you seem to be leaking free time.

    Appreciated,

    Spencer Berry

  • Does the pole make it hard to walk?

I would imagine they can accomplish wonderful things with surgery, and soon -just maybe- you could get back to normal.
