Vicki Paulson the Director of Operations at Heritage Adoption Services discusses how to get started in the process of adopting a domestic child. Nearly always, the children placed through the Pacific Northwest Program are newborn infants who go directly home from the hospital with their adopting families. Many times all parties involved are at the hospital together and often there is opportunity to be present in the delivery room for the birth of the child.
