Top 10 plus 2 more...My definition of NeoSoul: Slightly Left of Center--a little Extra somehow. It includes of fusion of musical genres from Hip Hop, jazz, funk, blues, African beat and rock. Also, there is an emphasis on real singing, writing, producing and performing, To me, it is more than the standard R & B song/singer. Also, this list features several artists who are not as mainstream e.g. top 40....these are SOME of my favs

Amel/M'chel/Erikah/ Jill definitely I wouldn't agree with all your choices though...Not Macy Gray? It's subject where Soul singers and Neo Soul singers cross the line...Nice argument though

@Discus101 Hi Discus101. I feel ya. I love Fantasia-I voted for her when she was on AI. Also, I saw her in concert a few months ago and I play her CDs regularly. She has an amazing voice. I like Beyonce too. However, I opted not to put them in my neosoul list just because when I think of neosoul, they don't readily come to mind. I wanted to recognize folks who are not as mainstream. However, Fanny and B would definitely be at the top of my other lists. Thanks for the feedback.
