No. Just because they're Thai doesn't make them from Bangkok. There are lots of Asians in the US who've never even been to Asia, so no that wouldn't make sense.

There's a difference between race, ethnicity and nationality. If I were Chinese I'd say I'm Chinese-American. Saying I'm white wouldn't make sense because it's a race. Americans are "white". Americans are all sorts of races and ethnicity. "American" is a nationality. So I'd say I'm FROM the US.

yea they are from the states XD but they're Thai so in a sense their from bangkok no? i was born in cali but i still think i'm from thailand..it's like if you're chinese and your born in america what do you call yourself? chinese? or white?

They're Thai yes, but none of them are from Bangkok. At least from what I've been told by several people. Two of them are from the states, one from Cali the other from Texas. The mix girl is from Australia.
