  • What ever happened to the womens groups that were once so great and dominate. if i'm not mistaken i think Xscape, SWV, TLC and Destiny;Child may have been some of the last female groups of this era before everyone went solo crazy.

  • dammmm im old...

  • WOULD YOU BELIEVE...Motown didn't want to release this tune because it sounded too jazzy...Smokey Robinson, the writer of this tune, had to fight with Motown's Quality Control tooth and nail to get it released - Quality Control was the group that decided which tunes would be a hit and which ones weren't - I would have LOVED to have a job like that back in the 60s!!

  • @LukeWilliamsCostello Not at all old and pruny. Katherine and Wanda are still here and look great for their age.

  • @mcbrion So thankful for your rich remark mcbrion. Thx rates for the correction of Ella as opposed to Sarah. Saw them live at least 200 times. Was in love with Gladys and Wanda. Was an original fan club member with signatures and my Marvelettes Fan Club button. Those were truly the days. RIP Gladys and thankyou for the good music and good times. Thanks mcbrion for a descript and meaningful remark.

  • And thank you mcbrion for such great remarks.

  • loved the days when women's group were good and dominated the music industry. wish we had them today

  • @mcbrion this was actually covered by ella on the album 'ella'. sarah had an album of pop covers, but this wasn't one of the songs selected.

  • Motown is simply the best, not the shit they play today

  • cant mess with this record my favorite female mo town group u know who it is Mustafa coming out the H town!
