Observation CME & Type 2 Radio Event
A solar burst was detected. On May 05, 2009 The burst lasted nearly 3 minutes This was a type II radio burst. It is a shock in this particular case produced by a coronal mass ejection, a CME. The frequency of this emission is a measure for the distance from the Sun: the higher the frequency, the closer to the Sun. When the frequency decreases with time, the shock propagates away from the Sun. How fast the frequency decreases is a measure of the speed of the shock. This Type II radio burst, the first one observed in over a year .
CCMC Data outage from 22:57 on 5-4-2008 till 06:06 on 5-5-2008
CCMC Animation in this movie is from 06:06 till 09:00 during the observation period in which the type 2 event and non Earth facing CME took Place
Also in this movie is a Real Time GAMMA Radiation chart that shows a peak on 5-5-2008 .
Also in this movie is the Shockwave as seen on EPAM from ACE as it passed Earth .
Also includes several animations of the event & Magnetometer charts and SC Induction Magnetometer charts from 5-5-2009 till 5-8-2009
anyone knows the effect?

I think the SUN is getting some sort of hit from the Neutron Star. When we go around the sun we may catch a bit of the SUns backlash.
Folks should have a look at a video on utube called "the killshot - Major Ed". Its old but interesting none the less because NASA is going to be launching a shuttle tomorrow (mon 11 May 09).
i hope Chris2191970 continues with these fine sources of information.
