I have not exposed my children *at all* to the internet, but when they become teenagers, they will get exposed to, use it, and get into some trouble for sure, even with all the practical advice they will get. Even adults get into trouble because of using the Internet. The best way to stay out of this kind of trouble is if children become involved only in better things in life (like good hobbies and seeing the real world).
