@ingramj3 Oregon does, in a way, get good surf once in a while, but seeing as how we are so close to where all the storms are, there's usually swells in the 15' range all winter (which for Oregon is from November to May), and it usually isn't safe to surf. But yeah, everyone up here has a good time, no matter how good or bad you are. Everyone does love each other here. :)

left lib keep on paddling out at 45th....as long as kook barneys like you stay there all the real breaks will have one less d-bag in the lineup....have fun on your fish tail and say hi to turtle...

it rains here every day i hate it parrents devorse goes to dads in astoria on weekends i boogiebord and some waves last a bit but not usually good.
This place is sweet. Oregon gets great surf, especially if your not afraid to hike to the best breaks. But why all the hate? Does any one remember when surfers used to love each other? Why compare oregon to so-cal? It's not like you made the wave, we just surf it. Personally, I'll surf wherever I Iive. And... the best Oregon breaks still don't have youtube videos of em anyway, and I hope it stays that way.

@ingramj3 N-Cal and Oregon have GREAT waves I've lived and surfed in both Humboldt and So-Cal...N-Cal has more powerful better surf easy...I've never surfed Oregon but I have seen it....plus the shoreline is awesome.....ya don't have to dodge the trash and syringes and ego-maniac....LOL....surfers up north are more of a brotherhood....like it used to be instead of a buch of silly highschool boys trying to vibe each other out in the water...I'm from So-Cal and I wouldn't move back for NOTHING
