In this video, I answer a question from Bigmacbook via email who asks, "In your opinion what are the top 3 apps for mac to host a radio station" Thanks for the question Bigmacbook. I can't really say I have three separate suggestions for you, but I do have some information regarding the technology used to host a radio station, and also free and paid software choices. To stream radio online, a popular technology which was huge in the 1990s is my recommendation: It's called Shoutcast. Shoutcast comes in various forms, but you'll find that there are paid solutions and ones you can build yourself. The trade offs with each involve hosting, bandwidth, time and configuration. Watch the video for more information on this topic. Thanks for the question Bigmacbook.
