This is a video of Lucky - a dog I rescued 4 years ago. We love him to bits but he has been one of the most challenging dogs I have ever had.

We have never been able to put anything on him except a collar (and even then we risk being bitten!). We have not been able to take him for walks, or do anything with him without him growling, snarling and snapping...

Recently I attended a course on TTouch and Clicker Training with Sarah Fisher and her TTouch Team in Bath, UK. Sarah also introduced me to the Thundershirt - one of the most valuable tools ever! The lessons I have learnt from Sarah and her team have been most enlightening.

I have been using the Tellington Touch on Lucky and "clicker" training him with the Thundershirt on for just 20 weeks and the results have been amazing.

We are now able to take him for walks which we were never able to do before as he was afraid of anything and everything outside the house. But he seems to have gained a new confidence ever since we started using the Thundershirt. Whenever I pick up his Thundershirt these days, he will come running and can hardly wait to get it on so that he can go out for his walk.

The combination of the Thundershirt, TTouch and clicker training has completely changed my dog and our lives!

  • thanks viki... hopefully others will realise that there it is NOT impossible to teach an old dog new tricks... you just need to find the right method and the right tools!

  • Your exceptionally methodical, amazing to watch his progression.

We are first time owners and have a basset hound, He has bad seperation anxiety and he seems to think its ok to toilet in the house.

Watching your videos made me think about consistency in training, Its hard for first time owners who are a bit unsure if what their doing is right!

  • congrats on rehabilitating Lucky. he really is lucky. I do clicker training and love it. I rescued a doberman that has separation anxiety and want to get the thunder shirt. What is TT touch?
