  • Hi well the polystyrene was from some packaging, the polyfiller from any hardware shop. The grass from a local model shop , so were the fences and buildings. the trees from hobbycraft

  • Hi Darlek it is actualy quite easy. think in layers with the finest layer first ie grass! grass is of different colours and if you look at nature it is quite random (Look at any patch of grass). So are rocks thes go under grass so start with rocks . use a brush to paste on pva glue from above the rocks never from the side or dabbing them. Now sprinkle random ccolours from above in patches. this gives the effect of grass growing on rocky ledges, look at any rock face.

  • the track is PECo 009 crazy track Flexible to bend it and cut to the curve you want

  • what did you use to cover the polystyrene?

  • @hancockshire Sorry i have taken so long to reply I used poly filler the normal stuff for filling cracks in walls, then painted roughly with different colours, applied PVA glue and sprinkled fine grass or appropriate finnish. then built it up in layers. Bits of tufted grass, bushes, brambles small trees and big trees

  • We all have to start some where and some people dont know where to start. Geesh give a guy a break!
